Designing the Fourth Iteration
With the E4 Pro, the goal was not to radically change the product but to push the existing idea further. Earlier models established a language of soft, approachable forms. This iteration explores how far that softness could be taken while improving ergonomics and performance.
The design is built from two distinct geometries: an ellipsoid head and a soft, slightly bent pipe forming the stem. Rather than blending these elements together with a transitional surface, they are allowed to meet directly. This creates a clear and legible structure where each part retains its identity.
The ellipsoid contains the acoustic components and sits comfortably in the ear, while the curved stem improves microphone placement and voice pickup. The slight bend also gives the product a subtle sense of character and direction without relying on visual complexity.
Small adjustments to surface transitions and proportions helped the earphones sit more naturally in the ear and feel lighter during extended use. Internally, improved drivers and wind-noise reduction microphones enhance clarity in outdoor environments, while the tuning aims for a balanced but energetic sound profile — crisp highs, controlled lows, and a spacious presentation suitable for both focus and everyday listening.
The result is a quieter, more refined listening experience packaged in a softer and more comfortable form.
